The 2019 Internal Giving Survey was released to gauge how employee giving programs are conducted in the nonprofit sector, how both employees and consultants give to their employers/clients and general attitudes towards them.
What is “Employee/Internal Giving”? We define it as direct philanthropic contributions from the employee or consultant to the organization they work for or represent.
The survey was conducted by 1832 Communications. Yup, that’s us!
We are now analyzing the data submitted and will be interviewing employees and consultants who requested to discuss the issue further. In a few months we’ll be publishing an ebook on employee giving which will look at the issue from a fundraising, marketing, communications and storytelling perspective.
