You can’t spell “fundraising email” without the word “smile.”
(And yes, I needed a few seconds to find the right combo of words to get to 😁 .)
When you have a fundraising campaign, I hope you’re sending more than one email. Not everyone opens every email you send. You must send multiple emails per campaign.
However, not every email has to look and feel the same. No reason to keep with the “here’s the reason we need money and here’s the impact you’ll have” theme. You CAN change things up!
Sending something which is not the norm will engage more readers and help mobilize them to take action.
