Your emails are a one-to-one communications piece between someone at your organization and the individual subscriber.
It’s why I always suggest having a name in the from and reply to email address. Additionally, open your emails by addressing the person by their first name.
To quote Dale Carnegie: “Remember that a person’s name is to that person the sweetest and most important sound in any language.”
You’ll get better results with personalization.
In this week’s episode of The Weekly SEND- where I show you how to boost your nonprofit email fundraising and marketing- I’ll share with you a fundraising email which has some good parts and some areas where it could be improved.
Watch and learn
- why getting personal is a good idea
- how using quotes from your beneficiaries- connected to the campaign!- help encourage more people to give
- why your donation page ask should match the email ask.
